The Claims Education Conference presented by American Educational Institute (AEI), the Society of Claim Law Associates (SCLA), and International Insurance Institute (III), provides claims relevant education and opportunities to network with other claims professionals who share similar concerns and challenges. The Conference also includes a vendor exhibition hall that showcases products and services relevant to the property and casualty insurance industry.

The Conference education program is a complementary blend of both legal and general claims training. Claims law topics are selected to help claims professionals increase their claims law knowledge and stay current on the latest industry developments. Claims law topics are presented by leading industry experts and nationally recognized insurance defense attorneys. In addition, Carl Van and International Insurance Institute's training staff provides claims skills training designed to help claims professionals sharpen their management and communication skills. This integrative approach is designed to provide both legal knowledge and practical skills, resulting in increased professionalism and enhanced productivity.

Educational seminars will be submitted for continuing education credit from those states in which Conference registrants express an interest. Registrants can note their interest in continuing education credit from specific states on the Conference Registration Form. State approval and the number of credits for each seminar will be posted on this website when official notification is received.

The Conference also provides recognition for new AEI designees. Claims professionals are recognized for having achieved a Specialist Designation, an Associate Designation, and the ultimate in claims law professionalism" ” the Senior Claim Law Associate (SCLA) Designation. Silver and Gold Award recipients are also recognized.
