Matt Hawk, the Specialty Operations Director for InspectionConnection brings a well-established background in commercial and powersport claim handling. Prior to joining Inspection Connection, Matt led a team of over 100 specialty managers and individual contributors at Nationwide Insurance handling everything from snowmobiles to combines.

Dealing with low dollar claims to multimillion-dollar losses, the Commercial Powersport team under Matt’s leadership was responsible for all aspects of claim handling. Responsibilities included partial losses, total losses, subrogation and liability decisions. Assuring indemnity accuracy and top-notch customer service was also a key responsibility for Matt and the specialty organization under his purview. He led the creation of a quality assurance program, handled the disposition of specialty salvage, dealt with vendor contracts and relationships while providing best in class service.
